From my earliest memory working with networking tech, it was the endless potential of what those first dots and bangs (ping = .!!!!) meant. Those simple characters meant the network was up and ready for business.

Now, it’s the almost endless potential that the variety and combination of applied AI tools brings — and it feels endless.

Without overcooking it, the feeling is elation!

Coming back to reality for a moment, my key AI learnings this week, summarised:

1. Applied AI is an enduring skill set that will stay with you for years to come. What are you doing now to build that skill set?

2. As your AI skills mature towards using and building agents, consider whether they are “acting as you or acting for you.”

3. Using tokens and hitting your limits is a good thing. $30–$100 a month is cheap education.
